Samburu Detectives seize key firearm – Detectives have arrested three notorious suspects linked to a series of violent robberies in Samburu East Sub-County, marking a major breakthrough in the fight against crime. The suspects, Joseph Lokoloi (22), Francis Alenthia Namaringile (24), and Moses Kenchai (23), were apprehended after weeks of evading law enforcement.
The suspects were implicated in a daring robbery at Dore Fashion Shop on December 12, 2024, a case reported at Archer’s Police Post. Following intensive investigations, a multi-agency team comprising detectives, officers from Samburu Police Station, and National Police Reservists tracked the suspects to their hideouts and arrested them.
During the operation, a G3 rifle, serial number A3-9796032, loaded with two rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, was recovered. This firearm is believed to have been used in their string of violent crimes, making its seizure a critical step toward justice.
While the three suspects are now in custody awaiting processing, law enforcement officers remain focused on capturing two additional accomplices who are still on the run.This successful operation underscores the dedication and efficiency of Kenya’s law enforcement agencies in ensuring community safety, especially during the festive season.
