The African Union Commission Chair Moussa Faki Mahamat expresses grave apprehension over the outbreak of violence as a response to public demonstrations in Kenya starting from March 21, 2023. The capital city of Nairobi has witnessed loss of life, property damage, and discontinuation of specific economic activities, stated the AU.
In his statement twitter, HE Moussa Faki Mahamat urged that Kenya has big problems. Demonstrations will not solve them dialogue between the opposition and the government is the one and only remedy.
